Bart got stung by a bee yesterday. He wasn't in any distress, but he did look awfully funny. Here is the BEFORE photo:

Hola! This last weekend I went on a cruise to Baja California, to the city of Ensenada. Since I have done some copy editing for PlainJoe Studios they kindly let me fill a vacant spot on the Paradise. (Thanks!) I had a really wonderful time with the PlainJoe employees, especially Christy. :)

Ensenada was beautiful. Christy and I toured the area with a guide that took us to La Bufadora, "the most spectacular marine geyser in the world." It shoots water 80 feet in the air every 30 seconds, but sometimes, as the guide informed us, it keeps Mexican time and only blows every minute or so.
The Blowhole also makes an eerie sound like a buffalo (I'll take the guide's word for it, having never heard a buffalo). It sounded like a whale to me, and one legend has it that a whale is trapped under the cliffs. In the picture above on the right you can see the spray behind us.
Everyone was impressed by La Bufadora, but I think the Americans on our bus were most awed when we drove by the Costco and Smart and Final.
We also visited the Habana Banana (below left) which had really good salsa. The rest of the time we spent on the ship, mostly eating the thousands of meals a day that were served. We tried unsuccessfully to dance a little, but the disco music rendered it impossible.
